Maria was born in Jessore district town in 1978. Among the two sisters, Marie is the eldest. In Bd Music Industry, Mariom Bagom was well known as Maria. Nowadays she is a renowned face by the name of Maria in BD Music sector. Mother Rizia Khatun used to sing in harmonic voice, Baby Maria Take primary education in music begins to her Mother from childhood. Mother's hobby was that the girl would become a Music artists as well as to study. So When Maria was a three-year-old child, Mother enrolled her in Jessore branch of Bangladesh Shishu Academy in music section. In addition to the music, Maria learned to dance and painting with music there. Some a few days child artist Maria Learned singing in kochi konthor Ashor. After that she become included at ‘Sur Bitan Sangeet Academy’ of Music, in Jessore. Afterwards, Maria completed special training on ‘Nazrul & classical music’ with the credit from the ‘Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy’.
Institutional Music Education :
In the long way Maria come In touch with many talented music scholars in her music life. Institutional music education started in Jessore Shishu Academy. Her first music teacher Ustad Liaquat Ali Khan, After that, Maria became more prosperous, with the help of Ustad Shah Mohammed Morshed and Ustad Mosharraf Hossain. For a long time Maria trained Ostad Sanjib day on various subjects of music.
In 1999, it was a good song recognition Maria is listed as a modern song artist in Bangladesh Betar and Bangladesh Television. Maria is currently performing in the special grade Bangladesh radio and television. Maria, first came on the first TV screen through the newcomers music program. Maria's mother and husband are the inspiration for her devotion to music. Samina Chowdhury, Subir Nandi, Asha Bhonsle, Manna De are Maria's Favorite Artists. Maria is regularly Performing on the stage music besides the musical programs on Radio and Television.
Music Awards :
Since the age of the teenager Maria has achieved National music award for good music recognition. Out of which there are significant awards are National Child Award Competition organized by the Bangladesh Shishu Academy under the Ministry of Social Welfare in 1991. In this, Maria's got the first place in Hamd / Nat (Islamic music).
Then only at the age of fourteen ‘Chader Hat Festival Children's Prize Competition-92’ Organized by Jessore Shilpakala Academy in 1992 First place in Rabindra Sangeet,
In 1994, at the age of 16 the cultural group Shonket the Inter-district branch of Jessore Maria again received first prize in the modern Bengali song.
In 1994, Maria received the National Award from Nazrul Music from Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
Music artist Maria has also performed regularly in Dhaka's Dhanmondi Alliance Francis de Gallery. Maria has earned a lot of good reputation by performing music in the Alliance Francis de Gallery in front of prominent special class of people in different countries.
Professional career :
Maria has finished her studies as well as singing. Maria completed her graduation from MM College in Jessore in 2005 and entered her career life. Maria started her first career life as a music teacher. Than after Maria joined the BIT International English Medium School in Banani, Dhaka. About two years maria ending this teaching profession with goodwill. At one point Maria Join as a music teacher in ‘Bulbul Lolito Kola Academy’ (BAFA) of Dhaka. At this stage, Maria provided an institutional music education to a large number of students. In addition to teaching, Maria will perform stage concerts and music. Gradually her popularity keeps increasing. From there, many fans grow up, And along with the stage, at the same time she keeps on getting numerous opportunities from television and radio stations. Including BTV and other national televisions, Maria performed live concerts in almost all satellite television channels of the country including BTV.
Besides all of these, she also got a platform to become a judge at the show ‘Talent Hunt’. Music artist Maria has also been involved organizationally with the Bangladesh Television and Radio Artisan organization for a long time. Afterwards Maria joins in a satellite television. Maria wants to live within music into everyone’s heart, wants to go further in the path of success.
Stage Performance
As a stage performer she’s one of the imperative and qualified one. In Bengali songs- folk, modern, Lalon, including more other demands of her audiences as Urdu, English and Hindi was performed by Maria. She also have records of performing at foreign countries ( USA, Thailand, Malaysia and India)
First Solo Album
In 1999, Maria’s first solo album was ‘Prem er Pathshala’. This album was loved by many, it gained a large number of popularity. Sangeeta had featured this album and the composer was Late Pronob Ghosh. This album is a variety of folk.
Second Solo Album
In 2011, 28th May she released an album named ‘Dub Satari” featured by G- Series composers. By the help of a program, ‘Dub Satari’ was first launched. There were many honorable guests from media; Musician Apple Mahmood, Late Abdul Jabbar Khan, actor Abdul Aziz, Sharmili Ahmed, Khairul Alam Shobuj, Toru Mostofa, Rita Banarjee, Solaiman Khoka and prominent musician Fatema- Tuz- Johora. Besides many print and electronic media was there.

Social Jobs through Musics
Maria had given her voice on visual music in Bangladesh Betar and TV organized by UNICEF. The name of this program was ‘Ma o Shishu Shastho Bishoy’, moreover she performed for the benefit deprived children without any remuneration. All songs are still there in Bangladesh betar and TV. Every year these songs are played on festivals. In future, Maria wants to keep on going with these activities. Till now, Maria’s recorded songs are at least 1500.
In Maria’s words, ‘In future I personally want to keep helping those children who are deprived from the benefits a normal human being can get. They are exceptional and I want to keep helping them with all my heart. Now at this present time, I try to keep my music up along with trend.
I expect to gain more crowds and hope to excite the crowd more and more!’
